Salary Range:
From $17.96 to $22.08 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
Minimum qualifications for taking the open-competitive examination:
must have:
Either 1. graduated from high school or be in possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND one year of library clerical experience; Or 2. 30 college semester credit hours, of which at least NINE college semester credit hours MUST be in any combination of the following:
library/information science, computer applications, or information studies. Minimum qualifications for taking the promotional examination:
Three months of permanent competitive, 55-b/55-c, non-competitive, or labor class service in a clerical, keyboarding, or secretarial position allocated to Grade 6 or higher. Qualifying experience for appointment from the eligible list:
After one year of the service described in the Minimum Qualifications, successful candidates will be qualified for appointment from the eligible list.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
