Job Description
Position Summary
The Marketing Support Associate provides daily support to the Marketing Department by providing information to internal and external customers. This position works closely with the Marketing staff to provide superior customer service to Fidelis' members.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Transcribe, format, input, edit, retrieve, copy, and transmit text and information, or data; summarize information and prepare and create detailed reports, letters, documents, spreadsheets, and presentations that support the needs of the department and advise management; record and update customer account information on computer databases to open and maintain customer accounts; research misapplied payments, mail requests, billing adjustments, and appointment status.
Answer calls within designated time frames on multiple line switchboards to make proper connections to requested personnel or provide routine information to callers; maintain employee department directories to route calls or direct visitors correctly.
Verify stock and replenishment specifications to optimize delivery of supplies; manage the approval processes to ensure appropriate approvals are completed before procurement happens.
Troubleshoot or call for maintenance of equipment to prevent office and work disruption.
Order and verify receipt of mail and shipments; open and check items against shipper and purchase orders to verify the accuracy of orders; responsible for end of day department outgoing U.S. mail and UPS packages.
Provide assistance to internal and external customers to resolve issues and answer questions regarding services, products, or billing; clarify the customer's complaint; determine the cause of the problem; provide resources to resolve quality issues and select and explain the best solution to solve the problem; expedite correction or adjustment and follow up to ensure resolution.
Educational and Experience Requirements
Work Related Experience:
One to two years related sales experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access; Lotus Notes; Internet.
Proficiency in one or more languages other than English.
Business Analysis Knowledge: Skilled to work in a fast paced environment. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Customer Service: Skilled to communicate with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
Ability to work well as a member of a team or alone.
Effective Business Communication: Skilled in communicating with technical and business constituencies in writing effective business specifications and requirements.
Education, License, and Certification Requirements
High School Diploma required.
AA/AS - Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
Physical demands: Ability to continuously stand or walk. Frequent and repetitive hand movements, including grasping, squeezing, and pulling. Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
