Physician Specialist

Job Description Provide clinical supervision of psychiatric residents (PGY3-PGY4) at BH, including performance evaluations. Co-chair The Department's Cultural Competence Committee Participate in selected teaching activities hosted by BH for allied professional trainees. Lead or collaborate in community projects targeting the Chinese population served by Gouverneur Health. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilization review, and other clinical/administrative mandates, as directed. Participate in programmatic efforts and interventions to sustain full compliance with regulatory agency standards of clinical care. Participate in and/or lead additional program development and administrative projects as they may arise in BH Participate in or lead research activities as they may arise in the Department. Participate in academic activities that define membership in NYU's community of scholars including mentoring, supervision, recruitment, advisement and governance Provide direct full-time clinical care to adults in the outpatient clinic at Gouverneur Healthcare Services, and to children on an as-needed basis. Be responsible for comprehensive evaluations of adults including ongoing medication management, psychotherapy, formulation of treatment plans, and all necessary documentation. Function as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes psychologists, social workers, and peer counselors. Review and approve treatment plans written by the psychologists and psychiatric social workers. Perform psychiatric consultation and engage in collaborative care initiatives, as needed, for patients referred by Gouverneur physicians in Adult Primary Care, Pediatrics or the specialty services. Perform psychiatric consultation as needed for patients at BH's offsite clinical programs and the onsite skilled nursing facility (SNF) at Gouverneur, working collaboratively with SNF staff. Adhere to appropriate clinical documentation to ensure compliance with current standards of clinical practice, and adherence to all regulatory-accreditation standards. Minimum Qualifications 1. Graduation from an approved medical school. 2. Completion of approved residency or fellowship in the specialty or sub-specialty and Board eligible or certified or Subboard eligible or certified. 3. Five years experience in field of specialty or subspecialty acceptable to the Medical Board of the Hospital. 4. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York. 42008
Salary Range: $191K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
